Term 2 Week 7 Reflection
This week I got more Mangahigh done by getting to gold medals and I am working towards two more. I am looking forward to training this Thursday and my game on Saturday. My favourite part of this week was researching for my IE about South Korea because it is different from the rest of my learning. The most exciting part of my week was going to indoor soccer with my dad and watching him play.

Ngatea Is Getting Rid Of Plastic Bags
Ngatea is becoming the first town in New Zealand to be plastic bag free. The pharmacy, the bookshop, the post office, the art gallery, the petrol station, Hammer Hardware, Subway, and Hauraki Takeaways are all joining the trend of going plastic bag free. The replacement for plastic bags is recycled fabric bags called "Boomerang Bags," where you grab some to put your groceries in and then bring them back or use them for your next shop. I think it is a great idea to ditch plastic bags because it will lower ocean pollution levels by a whole lot.

Term 2 Week 6 Reflection
This week was shorter because we had Monday off which I enjoyed because I got to catch up on some sleep I missed last Sunday. My favourite part of the week was football training because I was skilling everyone. My happiest part of the week was when I finally landed an around the world freestyle juggling trick. The thing I am most looking forward to is my game tomorrow against Thames because my friend plays for that team and I want to nutmeg him. This week has been fun but slightly boring at the same time I think next week will be less boring though.

3 Places I Would Like To Visit
- Liverpool/Anfield, the reason I would like to go to Liverpool is that Liverpool FC is my favourite football club and Liverpool is also a cool city. If I did go to Liverpool I would definitely take a tour of Anfield before going to a Liverpool game later on. I would also watch another game in a pub with a group of middle-aged Englishman getting drunk on Monteiths just for fun.
- Amsterdam, the reason I would like to visit Amsterdam is that I want to learn some football skills from the locals and visit a football court. I would also pop a manu in the canals even though they are very dirty. If I did go there I would do all these things.
- Rio De Janeiro, the reason I would like to go there is to learn lots of new football skills and then come home to New Zealand and destroy everyone. While I'm there I will go to some samba pitches, visit the street markets and climb up to the statue of Jesus.

Dear Ministry of Education, I would like to formally write to you to address the problem of you removing Geography from the year 7-8 curriculum.
If you remove Geography from the school curriculum people may not know the difference between Slovenia and Slovakia and buy a plane ticket to Slovakia to only realise it is Slovenia and you are 452 kilometres from where you are meant to be.
Recently I asked my friend Dylan what the country directly above the USA was and he said Russia. If you remove geography from the curriculum people like him's geographical knowledge will get even worse. Imagine how much of an ignominy it would be if in 20 or so years our very own Prime Minister thinks China is a South American Country because he or she did not learn geography in school.
So please, do not cut geography from the NZ year 7-8 curriculum.
Kind Regards, Charlie O'Neill
