Why Does Water Look Blue When It Is Clear

The reason water looks blue is because water absorbs the colours orange, yellow and red in sunlight more than blue so the water turns out to look blue because blue is the least absorbent.

The reason why water in a glass looks clear is because there aren't enough water molecules in the class to absorb the colours in beams of light.Image result for water in a glass
