It Can, 7-0!!!

If We Lose Now!!!!

As I write this Liverpool are winning against Spartak Moskva 5-0!!! Neo and I have decided to jump out the window if Liverpool loose now. Coutinho has already scored his first hatrick at LFC. Sadio Mane just scored a stunning volley, could this get any better?

What Do You Get When You Cross Liverpool And Brighton? 5-1!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁

Liverpool has dealt a crushing win against Brighton-Hove Albion winning five one with goals from Can, Coutinho, a double from Firmino and a little own goal in the mix. Most fans claim that this was Coutinho's stand-alone finest performance scoring a goal and creating many more chances. This was another great win for Liverpool and we are now on our way to Russia.

Footy On Thursdays?

As you may know, most EPL games are played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. But now Liverpool are playing on a Thursday. My question is, why are we all of a sudden playing on a Thursday? It could be that there is another international break coming up but we are playing Brighton on Sunday and then Spartak Moskva the following Thursday so that theory is out of the picture. Thinking of other possibilities has left me bewildered. Do you know about this sudden change of schedule? But after all the more games the better.

Fluke Goal Causes Frustration For Liverpool

Liverpool suffered a frustrating 1-1 draw with Chelsea conceding a fluke goal from Willian late in the game to make it another draw. Super Salah scored just after halftime but Liverpool could not hold off the Chelsea attack. What makes the draw even more depressing was that Willian's goal was a miss flighted cross into a box which ended up dinking Mignolet. If Willian could actually cross this would never have happened. At least Salah got another goal to keep him on top of the golden boot.

Despite his best efforts Mingnolet could not keep out Willian's cross

Liverpool Join The Man City Hunting Pack

With an impressive 3-0 win over Southhampton on Sunday morning, The Reds have moved a step closer to overtaking Tottenham with now only one point separating the two teams after Tottenham's shock loss to Arsenal. But we will have to get a move on if we are to have any hope of catching Man City with them beating Leicester City 2-0 on Sunday morning. In wait for Liverpool is 3rd place, Chelsea. If Liverpool win they will stay in fifth but only behind Chelsea on goal difference but if Tottenham has a very unlikely loss to West Brom they will jump to forth only one point from Man UTD.

The Plunge

The howl of a wolf sent shivers vibrating down my spine down to my toes. I tried to find my footing in the dense and wet forest floor. Suddenly a crack of thunder made my hair stand on end. Then it started to rain, litres and litres gushing down on my head. Then through the mirky fog, I spotted a pair of gleaming orange eyes. As I inched closer I could hear heavy breathing like the beat of a kettle drum. Suddenly the strange creature unmasked itself. A huge brown bear sprang at me faster than a blink of my eyelid. The next moment I was running. Faster than ever before. The thumping footsteps of the bear became louder and louder in my eardrums. I began to hear rushing water and looked to my right. A gaping crevasse carved out slowly over the years by the thundering torrent of a waterfall. But suddenly the water ridden earth gave way. With the wet leaves covering the ground I lost my grip and started falling to my death. With a thunderous crack, I hit the water the splash barely being noticeable under the raging rapids. As I sunk down my foot became caught in a log. Second by second my oxygen levels were drained. I softly exhaled my last breath. My memories end there.

90 Minutes To Russia

The All Whites play Peru this afternoon in a desperate effort to book the last place in Russia 2018. With the first leg ending nil all in Wellington, NZ only needs a 1-1 draw at the least to qualify because of the away goal rule. But how will the All Whites cope with the crazy Peruvian crowd in Lima and with the dreaded altitude? I personally think it will not affect the All Whites but all will be revealed at 3:15 this afternoon.

All Whites Do A Liverpool

The All Whites world cup dream is still alive after a 0-0 all draw at Westpac Stadium. Peru wasted numerous chances throughout the game. Peru nearly went 1-0 up after a defensive fiasco where Winston Reid megged Stefan Marinovic and forced Marinovic to clear the ball off the goal line. In the late stages of the game, Ryan Thomas came frustratingly close to scoring volleying the ball millimetres from scoring. All we need is a 1-1 draw or 1-0 win at the least to now qualify.

Can The All Whites Qualify?

With the first match of the home and away leg which decides who will advance to the world cup in Russia next year, New Zealand or Peru. But being ranked so far behind Peru how much of a chance do we really have? Well, Peru has recently taken a huge knock with their captain Paolo Guerrero failing his drug test and receiving a thirty match ban. But Peru still has such formidable striking weapons in their locker. The All Whites squad to face Peru has been dubbed “The Greatest All Whites Squad Ever.” Starting from the back Stevan Marinovic holds the fort in goal, we will most likely see a starting back line of Reid, Durrante, Roux, Boxall, and possibly Ingham. The main men in the middle will be McGlinchey, Rojas, Thomas, Tuiloma, and youngster Clayton Lewis. New Zealand has also assembled a star-studded attack with Barbarouses, Brockie, Smeltz, Wood, Patterson and 2010 hero Rory Fallon has made an unexpected return to the squad.

My IE Reflection Term 3 2017

Hammers Hammered By Reds Onslaught:4-1 😀😁

Happy days are here again as Liverpool cruised to an easy 4-1 win at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday. I was watching the game up to when we scored our second goal. Mane and Salah used their Barry Allen super speed to outpace the West Ham defenders to convert a West Ham corner into a counter-attack and then into a goal. Joel Matip scored a few minutes later from a Liverpool corner. West Ham scored to ignite a possible comeback. But all hopes of a comeback were shattered like a sheet of glass with goals from Salah and Oxlade Chamberlain. Liverpool has now jumped Arsenal on the table after they got eaten for curry day by Man City.

Sumo wrestler Yokozuna Hakuho has been honoured by the Japan Sumo Association for his record of 1,050 fight wins, an all-time record. He was given a Japanese Artistic Calligraphy on Wednesday to commemorate his amazing record of 1,050 wins. Hakuho said he will hang the Calligraphy at home and rumour has it that a memorial may be built in his honour.Image result for sumo statue

3-0:Liverpool Are Out Of Their Gloomy Days

A resounding 3-0 win lifted Liverpool out of their gloomy 9th on the table to 6th place. With a win now solidly putting them narrowly into 6th only 3 points behind Arsenal and one ahead of Watford, we will surely see a much more confident Liverpool squad who are playing West Ham and Southampton next in the league. We can expect another win against struggling West Ham who has only won twice in their first 10 games. And then we have Southhampton who are hanging around the bottom of the table as well so the next few games should be a lot of fun.

I also think I showed Curiosity when learning about how to throw a discuss for the first time.

Huddersfield:Not As Soft As They It Seems

This Sunday Liverpool FC face of against low ranked side Huddersfield hoping to pick up an easy three points but after downing Man UTD 2-1 last round is Huddersfield really as soft and fluffy as they first seem. Huddersfield was only promoted to the Premier League last year for the first time in history but can still play amazing football. But surely with the immense talent of the players at Liverpool compared to Huddersfield, we should pick up three points in front of a boisterous Kop.

This Is A Bad Time To Be A Liverpool Fan

Liverpool’s defensive flaws have been unmasked yet again in a moral crushing 4-1 loss to Tottenham. Now Liverpool has slumped to 9th on the table only points away from slipping into the bottom half of the league. Liverpool's defensive flaws have always been a talking point for around 3 years now but after this crushing defeat manager, Jurgen Klopp has had enough. Dejan Lovren had a notably pathetic performance against Tottenham gifting Tottenham their first two goals. Klopp’s main solution to the problem is Loveren out and replacing him little-known youngster Joe Gomez. I just hope this works because Liverpool is going to turn into the next Arsenal 2016/17 squad. Let's just hope that Liverpool can at least beat Huddersfield.

7-0:Slovenia Goes Red After A Historic Win For Liverpool

Liverpool has topped their Champions League Group in spectacular fashion dropping NK Maribor 7-0 like the time Gerrard slipped over and dropped to the ground, losing us the league. Roberto Firmino was first to score with the assist coming from no other than Phillipe Coutinho. Then Coutinho scored a spectacular volley from the edge of the box to make it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Momo (Mohammad Salah) bagged a double with Firmino matching him later in the game. Then Chamberlain finally did something and scored. Then in the 90th-minute Trent-Alexander Arnold put the icing on the cake topping off a historic 7-0 win for Liverpool.

Who Are NK Maribor?

Tomorrow night Liverpool will play NK Maribor in their last game of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage. But who are NK Maribor? Not much is known about the Slovenian powerhouse who currently sit 2nd on the Slovenian League Ladder. Maribor have one 14 PrvaLiga,  (The Slovenian equivalent to the prem) 9 Slovenian Cups and 4 Slovenian Super Cups. But with Maribor being so successful in their respective leagues why are they known to only so few? The main reason would probably be the fact that no one except Slovenians watches the PrvaLiga and therefore they do not get to show off their skills to a wider audience. But Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his team not to get cocky against NK Maribor because they can still play very good football.

Another Draw!😠😢😴

Liverpool has ground down to "another" frustrating draw against Man UTD. For some fans, Liverpool is not playing up to par but for some, a draw is the source of further optimism. Liverpool is now 8th on the table tied on 13 points with Burnley, Arsenal and Chelsea. If they win they could jump Watford on 15 points into 4th. But the question still remains, how long will we have to wait for Liverpool to collect some form of silverware.

Why You Should Visit The Te Toto Gorge

Only half an hour out of Raglan the Te Toto gorge offers stunning views, coastal air, and even some exercise. The Te Toto Gorge meaning "The Blood" is a huge semicircular cliff carved out by the thrashing of the waves. The reason it is called "The Blood" Gorge is that the Maori people used to throw captured soldiers from the cliff edge to dispose of them. Other than the grim name it is a beautiful spot. With superb views of the water and bush and a 2-hour track to the summit, the Te Toto Gorge is the perfect place to visit if you're holidaying in Raglan.

My Term 3 Reflection 2017

My top 3 highlights for this term were volleyball because my coaches were fun to learn from and volleyball is very fun to play. I also liked playing football with some kids from Moana Iti at lunchtime in the Learning in the Making Conference. My third highlight was learning French on Duolingo Tiny cards because French is fun to speak.

Something that I learned was how to make a metal shoehorn that fully works. Something I would have done differently would be choosing to not do metal tech.

My goal for next term is to achieve my learning languages milestone.

Coutinho And Mignolet Heros As Liverpool Beat Leicester 3-2

On Saturday Liverpool recorded a nail-biting 3-2 win over Leicester City. Liverpool had gone without a win for four straight matches and needed a win to pick up crucial momentum. Salah was first to score in the 15th minute with Coutinho scoring a beautiful free kick to make it 2-0. Then Shinji Okazaki made it 2-1 just before halftime. Then Jordan Henderson made it 3-1 shortly followed by Jamie Vardy's goal 3 minutes later. To add to the thrill of the match Jamie Vardy had his penalty saved by Simon Mignolet late in the game to hold on for the win.

My Volleyball Reflection 2017

For the past few weeks, I have been walking down to the college to learn how to play volleyball. After missing the first session because of TV Cross Country I had to learn how to serve, dig and set very quickly. Our teams in volleyball were the same as our learning teams with 1-2 extra players.

I think I showed a lot of Resilience in learning how to dig the ball and not smash a window. I also think that I showed a lot of Connecting at volleyball with my coaches and teammates. Then today we had a tournament where we only lost twice. After the tournament, I got the award for my teams MVP. I do not know what that means but people have told me it means Most Valuable Player which is cool. I really enjoyed doing volleyball and trying out a new sport and I will definitely come back next year.

57-0: My Neighbours = Not Happy

On Saturday the All Blacks dealt a crushing win to South Africa by a record margin of 57 points. The All Blacks ran away with it after the first try by Lima Sopoaga provided by a crossfield kick by Arron Smith from the penalty tap. Further points were provided by the wizardry of Beauden Barret and Nehe Milner-Skudder. My neighbours, who were of South African descent were gutted, angry and one even crying. Saturday was a great day for NZ rugby but a horrible one for South Africa.

Liverpool 1-1 Burnley: Maaaaaaaaaaaaah!

On Sunday morning Liverpool had a frustrating 1-1 draw with Burnley. Liverpool needed a win to stay on track but could only manage a draw. Now Liverpool is in 8th place on the table with 8 points and could jump the whole table up to third place. Burnley was first to score with Salah scoring moments later to level it up. After the match, I was seething with frustration and threw a massive tantrum! Liverpool was meant to be good and not draw with Burnley. I must say if Liverpool does not beat Leicester I will pop a few brain cells that's for sure.

My Weekly Reflection T3W8

This week I was disappointed when Liverpool was dropped 5-0 by Man City at the Etihad. This caused for some tantrums in my house.

This week I found making a Te Reo Maori poster very fun and I also liked learning what different words meant in Maori.

This week I was tired after coming back from Thames Valley Cross Country all the way in Whitianga. I came 26th so I did pretty well.

This week I gathered some interesting statistics for my IE with the help of a survey on football.

What's Happening Outside Of The Premier League?

After looking through some of my posts I found that I haven't been writing about anything other than the Premier League. Then when I took a look at the tables for the other big leagues, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 I was quite surprised at the table positions. One thing to note though is these leagues have only played 3 to 4 games just like the EPL so it's too early to say anything just yet.

The Bundesliga: So far in the German League each team has played 3 games with BVB topping the table with 7 points while their rivals Bayern Munchen are only in 6th. But still with only 3 games played it is too early to say anything just yet.

La Liga: Barcelona tops the table after 3 games in La Liga, while Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are following suite with Bayern in 6th and 7th place. Closely Trailing Barca is Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao. Trailing Real is your typical middle of La Liga teams such as Levante, Valencia and Getafe.

Ligue 1: There isn't much to talk about in League 1 with PSG wrecking everyone with their attacking line of Cavani, Di Maria and Neymar.

Serie A: Not much to talk about here either except how tight the top 3 is at the moment. Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan are all tied on nine points 3 games in. While Milan is in 7th and Salah's old club Roma is lagging behind in 10th place.

Liverpool VS Manchester City: 5-0😨💩😱😭👿

On Saturday at 11:30 pm at night something horrible happened. Liverpool, "The Best Team In The Prem" lost 5-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to Manchester City. The game started on a bad note with the controversial sending off of Sadio Mane after his boot collided with Ederson Santana De Moraes. Then Aguero slotted home a superbly worked goal to make it one nil but worse was yet to come. With goals from Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus made it five and Liverpool dropped to 8th on the table.

Lachian, Regan and Charlie's Character Despriction

Our hero Fishman, looks like a lizard mixed with a man. He looks very cool with his goggles. He smells yucky like a rotten fish. He also has stinky breath. He feels scaly and slippery. He can swim really fast and breathe underwater for ages. He can also breathe on land as he is a part man. He can also knock people out with his stinky breath powers. He lives in a cave half above water and half below it. He eats bugs and rotten fish which gives him stinky breath and is the source of all his power. He wears human clothes to blend in with the normal people. He is friends with the fish and some other people. His arch enemies are sharks, octopuses, and eels because they all eat other fish.

Don't You Just Hate International Friendly Breaks

It seemed Liverpool were finally gaining some momentum at second on the table then we just had to have an international friendly. I was happy having a Liverpool game to watch every weekend but then the Premier League comity just had to ruin it and decide to have an international friendly weekend. I know it is important for teams to compete in international games but the Premier League is so much better. So please, no more international friendlies!!!!!!!!!
