My 2017/18 Summer Holiday

For this blog post, we had to choose a part of our holidays that we liked the most and write about why we chose it. The part of my holiday I chose was when my family and I made the long trip up to Mangawhai Heads to see my cousins.  On the trip up we stopped in Manukau for breakfast at a place called Urban Soul where I had a huge plate of crepes with whipped cream, berries, caramel sauce and chocolate sauce.

Once we got to our cousin's house we explored their newly built house as we had never been there before. Then after a quick match of WWE against my two and four years old cousins, we went down to picnic bay for a swim. I also used my Uncle's paddleboard in the shallower water. The following night we went fishing next to a big rock that looks like a sail which I guess is why they call it sail. We caught a lot of Kahawai and a shark bit the end off one when we reeling it in.
